Pavol Breslik Recital

This performance is no longer viewable as video-on-demand for rights reasons but other material about the production is still available.

A stroll through the repertoire from the impressionist Claude Debussy to the ‘lone wolf’ Leoš Janáček by way of Alban Berg’s Second Viennese School and the late Romantic tradition of Richard Strauss and the lesser known Spanish composer Joaquín Turina.

Recently appointed Bavarian Chamber Singer, Pavol Breslik is one of the most respected tenors of our time. His live recital from National Theatre Brno accompanied by pianist Róbert Pechanec offers a selection of songs by composers who represented the progressive trends in music at the dawn of the 20th century.
