The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, in Valencia, is not merely a theatre; it is an architectural creation, a sculpture by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava.
Operatic productions constitute the main artistic offerings of Les Arts, which in its 10 years of existence has presented nearly 115 different titles.

Les Arts has co-produced with the most prestigious theatre companies in the world and has played host to some of opera's greatest stars: Plácido Domingo, Mariella Devia, Lyudmila Monastyrska, Gregory Kunde, Maria Agresta, Carlos Álvarez, Daniela Barcellona, Jonas Kaufmann, Juan Diego Flórez, Elīna Garanča, Marcelo Álvarez, Roberto Alagna, and Angela Gheorghiu, along with many more.

The Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana (OCV), founded by Lorin Maazel, is one of the fundamental pillars for developing the activity of Les Arts. The OCV is constantly perfecting its technique thanks to the presence of both its principal and guest conductors: Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Omer Meir Wellber, Riccardo Chailly, Valery Gergiev, George Prêtre, Vladimir Jurowski, Henrik Nánási, Ottavio Dantone, and Gianandrea Noseda, along with the orchestra's current musical directors Roberto Abbado and Fabio Biondi, with Ramon Tebar as the principal guest conductor.
As another of the fundamental pillars of this theatre, the Cor de la Generalitat exudes professionalism and versatility in any repertoire.
And finally, Les Arts is home to the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo, unique in Spain and one of the best training centres in the world.

40,000 square meters, 4 stages, extraordinary spaces that brighten any project.
