Celebration Concert Act III

Bringing together 6 continents in 4 acts and time zones

This performance is no longer viewable as video-on-demand for rights reasons but other material about the production is still available.

Universality and diversity will be at the heart of the third act of our special concert filmed across six continents to celebrate World Opera Day on 25 October.

Presented by South African Golda Schultz and Italian Daniele Rustioni, Act III adds Mozart sung by Elsa Dreisig and Beethoven by Luca Pisaroni, alongside Massenet, Verdi and Puccini’s Nessun dorma. Bernard Foccroulle’s dream of global culture is realised with Indian raag, Russian soulfulness, Irish traditional song and a duet from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess.

Presented by Golda Schultz, soprano and Daniele Rustioni, Music director Opéra national de Lyon.
