Eine Gala vom Kaukasus für den World Opera Day
In Vorbereitung auf den World Opera Day am 25. Oktober reist OperaVision nach Baku, Aserbaidschan, zum Abschlusskonzert des Internationalen Aserbaidschanischen Vokalfestivals im Heydar Aliyev Palast. Dieses Live-Event, bei dem die besten Stimmen aus Aserbaidschan und anderen Ländern der Region zu hören sind, ist eine Premiere für OperaVision.
Ein erster Livestream aus Baku, soviel ist sicher. Und für viele OperaVision-Zuschauer ist das heutige Konzert vielleicht das erste Mal, dass sie ein so vielseitiges Programm hören, welches Dirigent Ayyub Guliyev, künstlerischer Leiter der Aserbaidschanischen Staatsoper und Ballett, zusammengestellt hat. Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Leoncavallo, Bizet und Gounod - die Komponisten, die auf dem Programm stehen, mögen vertraut klingen. Doch wie steht es mit Hadjibeyli, Amirov und Garayev? Am Ende dieses Streams werden Sie mehr wissen: Uzeyir Hadjibeyli, ein führender aserbaidschanischer Opernkomponist; Fikret Amirov, dessen Musik stark von aserbaidschanischen Volksmelodien beeinflusst ist; und Gara Garayev, ein produktiver aserbaidschanischer Komponist von Balletten, Opern, symphonischen und kammermusikalischen Werken bis hin zu Klavierstücken, Liedern und Märschen.
