The young dancers of the Finnish National Ballet present a dynamic evening of classical and contemporary works, live from Helsinki. The programme centers on Blushing by renowned German choreographer Marco Goecke, originally created for Stuttgart Ballet, and also features an excerpt from La Bayadère and works by contemporary choreographer Julian Nicosia.

Marco Goecke’s Blushing delves into the physical and emotional act of blushing, using punk rock, silence and raw movement to focus entirely on the dancers’ presence.

In this trio, Belinda (Franciana Nogues) and Second Woman (Sophia Hunt) try to comfort Queen Dido (Martina Myskohlid), who is troubled by her growing love for Aeneas. They sing to reassure her that loving him is safe and will not bring any trouble.
