A connected Così fan tutte? This is what Levente Török (conductor), Ildikó Megymórecz (Fiordiligi), and Botond Pál (Ferrando) reveal. Between LED panels, the characters walk masked through a virtual labyrinth where temptation lurks behind every click. A striking face-off between a classic opera and a modern world where screens spy on our every action.

Ruiz (Conor Prendiville) rushes in to warn Manrique (Eduardo Niave) that his mother has been captured and sentenced to death. Torn between his love for Leonore (Lydia Grindatto) and his filial duty, he decides to leave everything behind to rush to her aid. In a final burst of resistance, he calls his men to take up arms to try and save her, at the risk of his own life.

'An assistant conductor is the ears of the conductor in the auditorium.' Alejandro Cantalapiedra takes us behind the scenes of his work on The Bartered Bride at Teatro Real. From initial rehearsals to sound checking, he describes the challenge of finding the right balance between lyricism and humour. He also reflects on his close collaboration with Gustavo Gimeno, where all their efforts are dedicated to the music.
