Nanami Yoneda follows a masterclass with Opera for Peace Ambassador soprano, Ailyn Pérez. Japanese soprano Nanami Yoneda was awarded the Opera Europa Eva Kleinitz Scholarship, designed to advance the careers of talented young artists.

Rossini Opera Festival presents the well-known Il viaggio a Reims by Gioacchino Rossini, which is performed every year in a double cast by the young singers of the Accademia Rossiniana "Alberto Zedda". Lord Sidney (Alberto Comes), in love with Corinna, the poet, is torn between the misfortune of not having her and his love for her.

Rossini Opera Festival presents the well-known Il viaggio a Reims by Gioacchino Rossini, which is performed every year in a double cast by the young singers of the Accademia Rossiniana "Alberto Zedda". Charles X of France was to be crowned and the jet set of the time stayed at the spa Il Giglio d'Or. Among them the Contessa de Folleville (Vittoriana de Amicis), who is very upset at the loss of her luxurious attire.
 

Teatro Reggio di Parma presents Il Matrimonio Segreto, Domenico Cimarosa's best-known opera. In the quartetto Sento in petto un freddo gelo, our characters Conte (Jan Antem), Elisetta (Marilena Ruta), Carolina (Giulia Mazzola), Fidalma (Veta Pilipenko) become aware of the repercussions of the secret marriage between Paolino and Carolina. A hasty marriage creates an unstable situation between the characters of our story.

Nombulelo Yende sings ‘Měsíčku na nebi hlubokém’, also known as the ‘Song to the moon’ from the opera Rusalka by Antonín Dvořák. She is accompanied by pianist Yuna Saito.

Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia Valencia presents Cendrillon, one-act opera by Pauline Viardot. The prince exchanges roles with Le Comte Barigoule to see how he is treated as a commoner.  The flirtatious Prince Charmant (Maximiliano Spósito), who is actually Le Comte Barigoule, dazzles us with his grace singing of his dream come true to be the prince of his nation for a few hours (Puisque me voilà Prince).

For Rossini Opera Festival’s Accademia in Pesaro, Il viaggio a Reims has become an annual summer showcase for the next generation of bel canto singers. In this extract, the young singers perform ‘Fra dolci e cari palpiti’.

Armenian soprano Juliana Grigoryan won the Grand Prix at the 11th International Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition, at Polish National Opera in Warsaw. In this extract, she sings ‘Un bel dì, vedremo’ from Puccini's opera Madama Butterfly.

South African soprano Nombulelo Yende won First Prize Female Voices at the 11th International Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition, at Polish National Opera in Warsaw. In this extract, she sings ‘Ha! Dzieciątko nam umiera... O mój maleńki’ from Moniuszko's opera Halka.

Ukrainian bass Volodymyr Tyshkov won Second Prize Male Voices at the 11th International Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition, at Polish National Opera in Warsaw. In this extract, he sings ‘Ten zegar stary’ from Moniuszko's opera The Haunted Manor (Straszny dwór).
